Adidas AdiFOM Isn’t Cutting Back on the Yeezy-Esque Feel!

If you’re here, then odds are you’re already familiar with the Adidas x Kanye sh*tshow. The last quarter of 2022 definitely was pretty dramatic with different breakups in the sneaker industry. From Ye to the Nike x Kyrie partnership ending, we had so much to talk about. But today, we’re gonna take a look at the sequel to Yeezy Dupes by Adidas. You see, the Adidas AdiFOM line is exactly that! And the latest addition, Adidas AdiFOM SLTN certainly looks familiar. So let’s take a look at the kicks and some comparison work!

Adidas AdiFOM – A Line That Eerily Looks Like Yeezys

So the line started with the Adidas AdiFOM Q, aka the Yeezy Foam Runner rip off according to many. The sneakers featured kinda the same design as the Foam Runners down to the foam upper. However, the only difference here is that the Qs have inner sockliners while the Runners don’t. Oh, and the resale value of course, but let’s not get too judgy just yet. In a tweet, Adidas said that the AdiFOM Q takes inspiration from 2001’s Adidas Quake.

Adidas AdiFOM SLTN

Fast forward to the end of 2022, and lo and behold! The all-new Adidas AdiFOM SLTN drops, and the resemblance to the Yeezy 700 is uncanny. Although it’s not Boost, the midsole looks a lot like the 700s, especially with the little details on the backside. Even some of the colorways are clearly similar to the classic Waverunner and Analog colorways. But the coolest thing about these babies is that the upper features at least 50% recycled material. And if you’re serious about being environmentally responsible, make sure you upcycle your shoe boxes!

How Do We Feel About These Kicks?

Although we really wanna give them a chance, they’re definitely not gonna come close to the Yeezy hype. In fact, you can find them available on the Adidas website. There was an attempt though, and they went as far as putting the same energy we find in Yeezy names! They’re pretty cool beaters if you ask us, not resale material. However, if you’re looking for stuff worth the resale, you should check out our blog for the latest sneaker news because we’re awesome. But to sum up, all eyes are on Nike SNKRS lately.
