This October 2019, What Are The Cop-worthy Sneaker Releases?

September went too fast didn’t it? And for those of you who didn’t cop anything, it went by even faster without giving you a proper chance at it. But worry no more! We’ve got you covered with the new October sneaker releases. Are we excited or what?

The stars of September were hands down Adidas sneakers. Especially Yeezys, but what about the coming month? Nikes and Jordans will take the cake this October with very cool and hyped sneaker releases. These shoes won’t just be stylish for wear, they’ll also grant you good bucks on the resale market!

And now, we made a compilation of must-haves for you to choose from.. Or just choose them all, because why not?

October Sneaker Releases – 2019

Nike Air Force 1 “What The L.A.”

  • Release Date: October 1, 2019
  • Retail Price: $130
  • Resale: $453

These shoes are candy to the eye for sure. All the colorful shades mixed together is a nod to all the Los Angeles Basketball and Baseball teams. The most noticeable features – besides the vibrant colors naturally – are the basketball material swoosh on the right shoe, the baseball-like stitching on the left one and the graphic “Los Angeles” branding on the heel. The main materials used on these sneakers are suede and leather. The Air Force 1’s famous midsoles are color-spotted contrasting black and white! They are definitely mix and match-y sneakers.

Travis Scott Air Jordan 6

Just like his music, Travis Scott’s collabs are eccentric and well-received. Travis Scott always manages to turn the ordinary to extraordinary, especially with his sneakers.

  • Release Date: October 12, 2019 (Not definitive as it has been pushed back twice now)
  • Retail Price: $250
  • Resale: $1,702

If you haven’t already heard of this collab by now, are you even a sneakerhead? The upper of these sneakers is an olive-toned suede with black and red details. Cactus Jack and Nike logos are embroidered on the heels in red. There’s also the Jumpman and Cactus Jack branding on the tongue. The coolest addition to these sneakers are the glow-in-the-dark outsoles!

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard 3.0”

  • Release Date: October 26, 2019
  • Retail Price: $160
  • Resale: $730 ( it will definitely go up just like the original SBB)

This colorway was made in remembrance of the day Michael Jordan shattered the backboard in a game in 1985! The upper consists of black and starfish orange patent leather. The leather has a crinkled texture, as opposed to the previous SBBs. The ankle of the sneakers feature the Jordan wings branding and the Nike branding can be found on the tongue.

Travis Scott Nike Air Force 1

  • Release Date: October 2019 – No exact date yet
  • Retail Price: $160 (Adults)
  • Resale: Expected to be within the range of $400$600

The long-awaited – and third – Travis Scott x Air Force 1 collab will feature different materials and colors like bronze, black and dark blue and a camo swoosh! Sail midsoles and gum outsoles give a cool vibe to the whole shoe. The newest thing about these sneakers is the huge gold zippers that cover the laces. The sneaker release will not be only for adults; The whole family can match with these shoes once they drop!

Off-White x Nike Dunk Low

  • Release Date: October 2019 – No exact date
  • Retail Price: $170
  • Resale: $900 – $1,500

Off-White is known for adding its unique touch to the classic design. This is exactly what’s happening with the latest Nike Dunk Low release! This October, the original Dunk silhouette is coming in three different colorways: Pine Green, University Red and University Gold (Michigan). Off-white left its signature on the well-loved shoes by adding extra neon orange laces and black print on the side.

Yeezy 700 Teal Blue

  • Release Date: October 2019 No exact date
  • Retail Price: N/A but the expected price is $300
  • Resale: Not available yet but they’re definitely worth copping whether to flex or flip them.

This colorway was supposed to be the “Hospital Blue” but the actual Yeezy 700 V2 “Hospital Blue” ended up being a completely different colorway. Yeezy Mafia confirmed on Twitter their release in October. That would make “Teal Blue” the only Yeezy releasing in October.

This sneaker release will consist of the usual Yeezy 700 silhouette with the upper being a mix of grey and blue-toned mesh, leather, and suede. The midsole is a full-length Boost tech and gum outsole will complete the cool look of the shoes. The toned-down colors are interrupted by bright orange laces! Very cool contrast if you ask me.

Conclusion

Finally, some of these shoes might not be the first thing you’d personally pick, but as a sneakerhead and sneaker reseller, you’d understand that they should be yours! And if October has anything, it’s the must-have sneaker releases!

So go get ready to cop by setting up your bot (or definitely getting one if you don’t already have it). Stay alert to any release date updates for all the shoes we mentioned!
