Here we are, looking at the end of 2019 in the eye and the holiday season never looked so good. This season will be extra festive in the sneaker community with three new, dare we say, colorful Yeezy Boost releases! The latest Yeezy Yecheil, Yeezreel, and Yeshaya will be the cherry on top of the cake. Now let’s say goodbye to 2019 in style and take a look at the upcoming additions.
ICYMI: Yeezy Yecheil ended up dropping on December 19 (RF) and 20 (NRF), 2019. Yeezreel surprised us all by dropping BEFORE Yecheil on December 14 (NRF) and 17 (RF), 2019. However, nothing really changed with Yeezy Yeshaya… Except for the whole colorway. The plain colorway dropped on January 25, 2020, but we’re not really hating on it because an off-white Yeezy is always needed in our wardrobe to rock with cool outfits.
The names of the upcoming Yeezys are definitely eye-catching. But what do they really mean? Well, we’ve got the answer for you! All three words originate from Hebrew with a Yeezy twist. “Yecheil” means “May God Live”. “Yeezreel” is inspired by the Hebrew word “Yizreel” which means “God will seed. Finally, “Yeshaya” is an actual word that means “God is Salvation”.
The newest addition to the Yeezy Boost family is – finally – breaking the neutral releases line.

Yeezy Yecheil features the usual Primeknit upper, but this time with a twist and mix of colors. The first color to capture our attention is the red on one side just above the translucent stripe. Upon further inspection, we can notice the yellow, blue and tan hues. The insole will also be matching with the outside and coming in a tan color. Naturally, the upper rests on a black Boost midsole.
Yeezy Yecheil will be dropping in both reflective and non-reflective iterations.

The Yeezy Boost “Yeezreel” is coming in a Vibrant neon color that is both similar to but much different than the “Glow” colorway. The Primeknit upper is rich in black color along with neon green this time. But that’s not all! The Boost midsole will be coming in glow-in-the-dark neon green! The shoes will come in both reflective and non-reflective iterations.
As for resale value, it is expected to be similar to the “Glow” value.

Regarding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Yeshaya”, nothing is for sure yet. And this has happened with Yeezys before where we got initial images that looked nothing like the real deal. What we do know for now is that the shoe will be coming in a purple upper with a bit of grey below the translucent side stripe and yellow on the heel and toe. Pretty colorful or what? To add to the joyfulness, the Boost midsole will also be purple! That’s a very interesting change of the usual color palettes.
Yeezy Boost Yeshaya is also dropping in reflective and non-reflective versions.
We’re disappointed, we really are… We were very excited about that colorful pair of kicks! But apparently, Ye has other plans, that’s why we’re getting some plain Yeezy Boost Yeshayas. However, even if we’re disappointed, that doesn’t mean that the new look won’t sell out as fast as other colorways! In fact, it’s always handy to have a pair of whites.
