Cook groups don’t only provide info about the release itself. They also provide you with info about the bots that support these releases, and which have been doing best lately. You can also find proxy providers that are doing well, and which work better on your target sites. In addition to that, cook groups include expert chefs and botters that know their way around the industry. While learning how to bot Shopify, there are specific pointers you should know. There are different things that you can use to find your items or sneakers using your bot. AKA keywords and product links.
Some sites pre-list the upcoming kicks and set them as out of stock. In other words, you can see the item, but you can’t buy it just yet! In this case, cook groups will take the product link and provide it to their members. You see, adding the product link to your bot instead of keywords makes the process faster. Sometimes, sites use similar patterns for all the items they drop. So, cook groups can also predict what the product link can be and share it with their users to use. Mind you, that’s sometimes guesswork, which brings us to the other option: keywords.
When product links aren’t there, you gotta go for something else. Some sites use different patterns to beat bots or people trying to predict what the product links are. In this case, you’ll need to switch to keywords. Keywords are basically the words you’d use to search for an item on a webpage. For example, if a Jordan 1 High Chicago is dropping, the keywords could look something like: “Jordan Chicago”, “Jordan 1 Chicago”, or “Jordan 1 High”. PS: If you add a dash before a certain keyword, that tells the bot not to buy that item!
One thing to note, not all Shopify sites announce if they’re dropping a specific shoe or not. Sometimes, sites randomly drop the item you plan on copping while others don’t.
