Kanye West Files for 26 YEWS Trademark Applications!

Another day, another Ye shenanigan, and we’re lowkey here for it. So, Kanye stayed relatively under the radar after his controversial opinions that led to his Adidas breakup. However, leave it to Ye to attract the spotlight and media attention. How? By doing something as dull as filing for trademark applications! However, the YEWS trademark isn’t just a simple word, and here’s what everyone is thinking. Let’s check it all out and see why this legal movement is a tad controversial, shall we?

A Quick Recap to Keep You Up to Speed!

You don’t wanna jump through hoops to stay up-to-date on the latest news? We got you. So in 2022, Kanye went on social media and made a stream of concerning tweets. The public was not feeling his tweets, but well, to each their own. However, that all changed when Ye went on an anti-semitic rant, and that’s when the public drew the line. Brands dropped Kanye, and the last one to do so was Adidas. After all, the brand with the three stripes had a lot at stake with Yeezys on the market.

This put Adidas in a pickle with investors because of the losses they were about to take. That’s when Adidas decided to actually sell the remaining Yeezys after reaching an agreement with Ye. In the meantime, Ye kept busy with his marriage, secret Yeezy show, and much more. But now, he’s taking things up a notch, and he allegedly filed for 26 different YEWS trademark applications! So, what’s that about? And what does it really mean?

The YEWS Trademark – Coincidence or Not Really?

On October 2, 2023, Ox Paha Inc. filed 26 YEWS trademark applications at the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office). Now, as far as everyone knows, Ox Paha isn’t associated with Kanye West. However, their address is the same as Ye’s office on Melrose Ave. So it kinda makes sense that the company is his. And the word eerily looks like all of Ye’s signature words like Yeezy, Yeezus, Ye, and more.

You’re probably wondering what the 26 YEWS trademark applications are for. Well, the applications range all the way from footwear and clothing to medical and banking services. Now, this trademark lowkey stirred everyone’s attention, especially since it has a great similarity to the word Jews. Whether or not this is intentional is unclear, but this is definitely one way to be controversial… especially with rumors of a new album coming soon.

While we all wait to see how all the events will unfold, the third Yeezy wave is allegedly coming soon. And if you’re reading this, you’re probably a fan of the man or the kicks, so why not try to score some? All you have to do is get a sneaker bot that supports the Adidas Confirmed App and you’re gold. Don’t worry though, because NSB supports the app and much more! So why not expand your horizons by botting Shopify and Nike SNKRS too? It just might be your ticket to becoming a sneaker reseller and making bank! Godspeed.
