Kanye West Jordan Rumors in 2022 with DJ Khaled in the Mix?

When we said we expect awesome things in 2022, we didn’t dream about the very unlikely things we saw. From a possible Kanye West Jordan reconciliation to DJ Khaled’s Louis Vuitton pillow, this week was wild. Luckily, we got everything that went down this week right here! So, What Went Down Last Week?

Well, what didn’t! But you know, first things first. Last week, Kanye “Ye” West was in Miami for a recording session with DJ Khaled. It was all going well, even his new girlfriend Julia Fox was there! From videos of the artists jamming to random fit pics and boomerangs, we saw it all on IG. The surprise was when Marcus Jordan slid into DJ Khaled’s IG comment section and dropped a bomb.

Needless to say, people immediately picked up on the juicy comment and gave their two cents. Some were totally shipping a meeting like that, others, not so much! Regardless though, it would’ve been a random happening if not for Kanye’s bold move.

Kanye West Jordan Meeting – Will That Happen?

So, as we already mentioned, Kanye dropped a bomb right after this, and the crowd went wild. He proceeded to post the Jumpman logo along with a screenshot of Marcus Jordan’s comment. His only caption was the eyes emoji “” which leaves a lot to the imagination! But the way we see it, Ye’s digging the idea of meeting MJ, which he clearly stated before.

People’s reactions ranged from extreme excitement to reality hitting them with how they won’t financially recover from the resale value of a collab like that. And that’s not all, because Marcus Jordan also commented on this post saying “We gonna make it happen this year ”. Talk about hyping people up, right?

Will the Old Kanye West Jordan Beef Stand in the Way?

Okay so, you probably already know, but it seems like MJ didn’t appreciate Ye’s 2015 lyrics. Remember when he said “Yeezy jumped over Jumpman” in his song Facts? However, Ye quickly tried to reconcile by apologizing to the GOAT in February 2016. Fast forward, and Kanye thinks that MJ’s still holding a grudge over that because he hasn’t met him yet. He actually mentioned that recently in his Drink Champs interview in November 2021. Anyway, the year is still young, and who knows? We might get a couple of surprises!

Since we mentioned DJ Khaled, we can’t ignore the huge red teasers we got! He received the red colorway of the Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 line by the late Virgil Abloh. But that wasn’t all, because a couple of days later, he flexed them real hard! Along with the classic red Supreme LV hoodie, DJ Khaled gave the kicks the royal treatment. He rested them on a red LV cushion courtside during the LA Lakers/Miami Heat game, because why not? Talk about pampering yourself!
