Jordan 1 Georgetown – Switchin’ It Up Back to 1985 Classics!

Today, we’re going back to school, but not getting the usual education. We’re actually going back to 1985 college basketball with the Jordan 1 Georgetown release! But that’s not the whole story here, because in 1985 we got the OG Air Jordan 1s. So mix both things, and you definitely got yourself memorable kicks. So what should you know about the new Air Jordans? And why is copping them a great idea? Let’s find out, along with a trip down memory lane with other ‘85 retros!

Jordan 1 Georgetown – Them ‘85 Vibes Hit Different!

So back in 1985, there was a sample of a cool Jordan 1 colorway. However, it’s not one of the OG colorways, but might as well be! Jordan 1 Georgetown rocks a very cool grey and navy blue leather upper to represent the Hoyas colors. And for all the sneakerheads that weren’t around for the Jordan 1 genesis, 2022 is a good time to be alive! We’re gonna get an almost identical retro. It’s eerily identical to the ‘85 pair, and we couldn’t ask for more! From the colors to the yellowed spongy tongue, we’ll have it all.

Release Info

Jordan 1 Georgetown will reportedly drop on April 2, 2022, and will retail for $200. A bit on the pricier side of Js, but totally worth it. Why? Because the pair is worth $400+ on the resale market. In other words, the pair is cool enough to style like crazy, and worth 2x its original value! But we all know how hard it is to get pairs like this. Especially when they have that whiff of retro on them. So what should you do to get an edge over other potential buyers? Read on to find out!

How to Score the ‘85 Jordan 1 Georgetown?

Obviously, you’re gonna need a sneaker bot. An all-in-one bot like NSB would be awesome since Jordan 1 Georgetown will drop on Footsites as well as Nike. But even the best sneaker bots won’t be much help if you don’t pair them up with the right equipment. And when we say equipment, we mean you gotta get the right sneaker proxies and servers! However, the botting experience is all about testing what works and what doesn’t. So if you’re not sure about what to do, check out this easy botting guide for some help!

More ‘85 Retros That We All Previously Loved!

Although Jordan 1 Georgetown is pretty lit, it’s not the first in the string of ‘85 Jordan revival. In fact, we had three different colorways in the last 2 years. So, since it seems to be going on through 2022, it won’t hurt to remember them… and the profit some people made from sneaker reselling!
