Yeezy 2021 Standings – There Will Be Blood! [Best of 2021]

I have competition in me – something Ye would totally say. And you know, we’re pretty sure this is his favorite movie for lines like that. But we’re not here today for the movie appreciation. We’re here because we’re ranking the Yeezy 2021 releases, but not in the usual way! The industry is full of personal opinions, but when money talks, we can’t argue. But what if we told you that we got the best of both worlds here? Read on to find out what we mean! And speaking of opinions and facts, Yeezy Beluga is making a huge comeback this year. Make sure you check out all the deets here.

Yeezy 2021 Best Of – Money Talks

We’d usually make a list of the top 5 Yeezys or so, but this time we chose to take a different approach! We’re gonna pick one pair of Yeezys for each section. And we’re gonna start with some money talks because numbers don’t lie!

Disclaimer: We got our info from StockX! So the numbers may vary once more people buy kicks.

2021’s Best Seller: Yeezy Slide Pure

Is it really a surprise? Slides have been sitting at the top of every list we write about Yeezys since 2021. Well, it kinda gives that when you’re in quarantine, you’d wanna be comfy. And what’s more stylish and comfy than a pair of Slides? However, the Pure colorway so far beats every other pair in 2021 in terms of sales. In the last 12 months, more than 49,700 pairs were sold! Can we argue with that? Today you can get the Yeezy Slide Pure for $200 on average.

Highest Resale Value for Our Reseller Peeps

So many people slept on these babies, but who knew they’d be this profitable? Although they’re not the best-looking Yeezy 700s, they still go hard. The Sun colorway features some of the OG colors on the Waverunner. However, yellow and orange were pretty strong on this one, and that explains the Yeezy name. The pair retailed for $240 in January 2021, and today it’s worth $538 on average. That’s more than 2 times the original retail price! Good bargain, huh?

And Because the Industry Is All About Opinions…

The team sat down and asked for each person’s opinion on the best, worst, etc. Well, it was enlightening to say the least. There was lots of back and forth there, and let’s just leave it at that! So we’re sure that this very subjective ranking will please everyone, including you! We’ll also be putting our phones on silent, just in case.

The Prettiest Pair!

This Yeezy is probably the only section that most of the team agreed on. Although it doesn’t resell for much, the Yeezy Mono pack is quite the looker. All the colorways are fantastic, but the Clays are just on a different level. Now, despite everyone looking down on these because of the Primeknit-less upper, we can’t deny that they look lovely. The Mono Clays were Asia-exclusives, but you can get them today for an average of $255! You can get these as a cheaper alternative to the original Yeezy 350 V2 Clay and look cool as heck.

If Ugly Was Ever a Pair of Kicks…

We can explain everything Ye pulls off with Yeezys, but not this one. In all honesty, we just couldn’t not include the Yeezy 500 High Sumac on this list. Unfortunately, it’s a pretty ugly colorway and design. We gave a pass to other colorways because they were OK, but this one just gives off Freddy Krueger vibes. And not in a Nike Dunk hype kinda way. But if that your jam, we’re not gonna judge. You can find these for $218 on the aftermarket, which says a lot since they’re under retail.

Yeezy Foam Runners Are Pretty Overrated

Oh, don’t @ us, you know that too! Remember how much hate the silhouette got before it dropped and got a high resale value? Yeah, well, we don’t know how the times change, but the pair really is overrated. I mean, you could get any of these alternatives that look pretty cool too! The most overrated Yeezy 2021 pair is Yeezy Foam Runner Vermillion. But then again, that’s a subjective opinion, so you can take it with a grain of salt. And if you missed the release, you can find the pair on the resale market for $253 on average!

No Yeezy Goes Underrated, but If We Have to…

We’d totally choose Yeezy 380 Covellite. The color is just out of this world with the dark navy blue upper and yellowish soles. Boost cushioning is also a plus, and you can’t go wrong with that. And if you agree with us, make sure you get your own pair for $225 on average. You see, it’s a win-win because you’ll be getting the pair for under retail!

How to Not Miss on Another Yeezy Drop

Yeah, we’ve all been there and missed a really cool drop. But that can come to an end if you get a sneaker bot like NSB! Also, knowing where you can buy your Yeezys for retail and resale is a huge plus. And if you wanna know more about Yeezys generally, check out our Yeezy history guide! It’s the only guide you’ll need to become a Yeezy pro. Godspeed 🔥
