Our story starts in June 2023, during Paris Fashion Week! Salehe Bembury teased a picture of him wearing a pair of fiery New Balance 1906Rs. The pair was silver, orange, and yellow, as eye-catching as the man that wore them. More teasers followed throughout the year, but now, we finally have the full news! So, there will be not one, but two colorways available.
The first pair was the one we saw through the teasers is “Lava”. This pair features a gradient base that goes from yellow to orange with silver overlays. The second pair comes under the name “Magma” which is fitting because lava is just magma that reaches the surface. And this features a darker colorway that fits the underground vibe. It features a popping orange mesh base with blue overlays and purple details. Both kicks feature the same N logo in dark orange!
The upcoming Salehe Bembury New Balance 1906R “Heat Be Hot” collection will drop on January 11, 2024.
