The sneaker originally received an exclusive in-person release on July 25, 2026, at a special Pokémon activation at 101 Union Street in Brooklyn, New York. The event ran from 12 PM to 8 PM ET, with the sneaker priced at $300.
However, following that NYC launch, the Puma Suede Pikachu will drop on the atmos Tokyo site on August 13, 2026. The pair will retail for ¥19,800 (approx. $124.46), which is nearly half the original pop-up store price! Now this doesn’t mean that the kicks won’t be worth it, because they’re currently worth about $446 on the aftermarket.
