So it’s only fair to celebrate cultures! And that’s Nike’s playing field. So let’s check out this year’s CNY Jordans because it’s gonna be a roaring release!
So in 2022, we can be a little extra with our shoes. From potentially great collabs to OG retros, it has it all so far. And why not sprinkle some celebratory drops along the way? For the Year of the Tiger, we’re not getting one, but three, different sneakers! We have it all, from a classic Air Jordan 1 to a less famous silhouette!
This is the pair we’re all waiting for, for multiple reasons! First off, the sneakers feature a tiger print on the upper, with a black leather swoosh and satin lining. The awesome design sits on top of a yellow translucent outsole showing the Wings logo. So, all in all, the look is pretty cool, but what makes the kicks extra special is there will only be 5,000 pairs! You can expect these to sell out in no time.
In a turn of events that we did not expect, Jordan Brand is dropping a low-top version of the AJ6. Although we prefer classics in all of their glory, we can’t deny our love for these lows. The upper comes in an all-white ceramic-like design with hints of gold on the tongue. More gold appears on the midsole to complete the simple but beautiful colorway. Finally, the finishing touch is the ice-blue translucent outsoles!
The Legacy 312 is a pretty nice pair that just goes under the radar because it’s not an OG. It’s a hybrid mashup of the AJ1, AJ3, and Nike Air Alpha Force. The silhouette was a collaborative effort between JB and Don C, and it made it to CNY Jordans! Like the AJ6, Jordan Legacy 312 features a white ceramic upper with gold details. However, the swoosh and tongue come in a very pale shade of green! So this is not too shabby for a pair that doesn’t go in the main lineup of Js.
If any of these CNY Jordans looks like a pair that can go into your sneaker collection, read on. If you live in Asia, odds are you got your hands on a pair of these Js. But if you live somewhere else, February 2022 is your month. We still don’t have an official release date, but it’s gotta be around February 4, 2022.
