Every year, music and art lovers are in for a treat with Coachella. And in 2023, the music and arts festival is coming back for two weekends! And as it happens, sneakerheads will have a lil treat with the Bad Bunny Adidas Coachella experience. What’s that, you ask? Well, it’s a lot of things that we will be discussing right now! So here’s everything you need to know about the three stripes, Bad Bunny, and the festival.
If you’re unfamiliar with the event, allow us to introduce you. Coachella is basically one of the biggest music and art festivals in the USA and the world. People wait for it year to year to attend and watch their favorite artists all at once during one weekend. And well, many people attend this event, and the tickets sell out pretty fast. In fact, demand was so high back in 2011 that starting 2012, Coachella became a 2-weekend festival! Nothing different, both weekends have the same lineup of artists and all.
So, Coachella Weekend 1 started on April 14, 2023, while Weekend 2 starts on April 21, 2023. And Benito, aka Bad Bunny, is the headliner on both Fridays. As it happens, Bad Bunny is a constant Adidas collaborator. He’s actually one of the best current Adidas collabs after the many flops like IVY PARK. So naturally, the three stripes brand is working hard to push this partnership marketing-wise. Mind you, Benito and Adidas already went big with their superfan 3-day Puerto Rico getaway!
And now, Adidas is making use of the hype to give fans the Bad Bunny Adidas Coachella Experience! So, the three stripes brand is doing a very flowery and colorful installation with a wooden Bad Bunny logo archway. But to access this installation, you’re gonna need to download the Adidas Confirmed app! Why? Because there will probably be exclusive access and such. Oh, and rumor has it that the Bad Bunny Campus Olive will make a surprise appearance there!
Whether the Olive Campus drops during the Coachella festival or not, we’re still getting the kicks. In fact, you’ll be able to cop these babies on April 29, 2023, for $160. And they’re definitely gonna be worth it. This time, Benito went for a simple design with his signature double tongues and heel support. It seems that he knows that Adidas Campus is the star of the year, and he’s selling it!
And well, other than how cute they look, the kicks are worth $320 on average in resale! So, if you’re interested in the kicks be it for the flex or the flip, make sure you keep your eyes open.
