A New Union Jordan 1 Is Looming on the Sneaker Horizon!

There’s no such thing as too many drops when a sneaker collaboration is popular. At least, this seems to be Nike’s opinion considering their Union partnership. And we get it, when your collab is going strong since 2005, you gotta be doing something right. Oh, if you wanna know more about the history of the partnership, check this out. But today, we’re here to talk about a potential new Union Jordan 1! Here’s everything we know so far!

A Little Union Jordan Recap

Although we already got you covered with the history of the partnership, we’re gonna talk about the relevant part now. Although we got multiple drops throughout the years, we didn’t get a new Union Jordan 1 High. The last time we got those was back in 2018 when Union LA gave us two amazing colorways with awesome inspiration behind them. These two are worth well over $1,000 on the resale market! So if you managed to catch these babies, you’re kinda sitting on a lot of drip and profit.

Although we didn’t get any Jordan 1 highs since 2018, Union LA didn’t leave us hanging. The partnership gave us two colorways of the Jordan AJKO just last February! However, these weren’t nearly as hype as the highs. Kinda leaves us thinking about what the ingredients to make hype sneakers are!

A New Union Jordan 1? Sign Us Up Pls!

Well, it’s not only a Union Jordan collab, but we have a third party here! This time Union and Bephie’s Beauty Supply are going hand in hand to give us these babies. Fun fact: Union owner, Chris Gibbs, and BBS owner, Beth Birkett, are a happy couple! So this collaboration is legit full of love. But the new Union Jordan 1 isn’t the only pair we’re gonna get, because the lineup will include a Jordan 1 Elevate! In addition to both kicks, a whole apparel line for men, women, along with accessories are coming soon.

Instead of a mishmash of colors, we have a pretty tame colorway. However, the action is happening on the level of the materials! The pair kept the same deconstructed look for the kicks, with a little difference. In the middle of the upper, we got a section that features a weave. That’s an obvious tribute to the Nike Air Footscape Woven. Other than that, the pair is pretty minimalist with a mix of different shades of off-white.

The new Union Jordan 1 x BBS will drop on August 24 2023 on the Union store, and August 26 on Nike SNKRS and will retail for $200. And well, you can actually flip them for $488 on average!
