J Balvin Jordan 2 – Put Some Reggaeton in Your Step!

Latin artists got huge international recognition in the last couple of years. And one of the biggest names out there now is J Balvin. His nickname is actually the Prince of Reggaeton (Príncipe del Reggaetón) and is a best-selling Latin artist. And we know how the music and sneaker industries connect, so a collaboration was gonna happen eventually. This time, it was Jordan Brand who managed to recruit the prince and have him among the ranks of Jordanheads. But what’s up with the new J Balvin Jordan 2?

It All Started with the Legendary Jordan 1 and the Super Bowl

During the Super Bowl LIV in February 2020, J Balvin made an appearance alongside J.Lo. But for sneakerheads, the highlight of the show was actually the pair that the artist had on his feet. A pretty trippy pair of AJ1s made its first public appearance, and everyone was suddenly talking about it! However, the pair didn’t drop until the end of 2020 in December. The kicks featured J Balvin’s signature smiley face motif and vibrant colors and retailed for $190. Today, the sneakers are worth around $462 on average in resale! So if you managed to cop the kicks, you would’ve made some good cash.

And 2 Years Later Comes the J Balvin Jordan 2!

Did you miss the 2020 release? Well, here’s your chance to make up for it! The new J Balvin Jordan 2 isn’t what you’d expect after the initial 2020 collab, but we sure like it. At first glance, the pair looks pretty simple with its all-blue upper. However, the heel area features a cloudy pattern and J Balvin’s signature smiley face, obviously.

You’d think that this is all the pair is about, but you’d be wrong to do so. You know why? Because the second you turn off the light, the kicks go bam! The outsoles and the Jordan wings logo are actually glow-in-the-dark. You didn’t expect this pair of kicks without a nice twist on them, did you?

Release Info

So here’s what we potentially know so far. The J Balvin Jordan 2 will probably drop on September 15, 2022, and will retail for a whopping $300. That’s pretty high up in terms of the retail price if you ask us. But if the resale value is anything like the first collab, it’ll be worth it. So how can you cop these sneakers?

J Balvin Jordan 2 – How to Get The Kicks?

Wherever the kicks are dropping, you’re gonna need a sneaker bot. And if you’re not sure about what to do, here’s a list of the best sneaker bots around the market.
