Nike Terminator Georgetown – College Kicks Are All the Rage!

Did you know that most of the Nike sneakers we love and still rock today are originally basketball kicks? Let’s think, Dunks, Air Forces, Air Jordans (duh), and others, were basketball kicks. And one more silhouette that sometimes we overlook was the Nike Terminator. This shoe is the third element of the holy 80s sneaker trinity! But what’s special about it? And why will you wanna cop the retro of the Nike Terminator Georgetown? Let’s find out together!

Nike Terminator – The Root of All Exclusivity!

So let’s go back to the 1985 season of the collegiate basketball championship. The Georgetown Hoyas were coming back from their 1984 National Championship victory! And that’s the same year in which Nike launched their college campaign that led to the BTTYS Dunk collection. Many universities received Dunks in their own colors, but Georgetown was different. The team received its own shoe, the Nike Terminator.

These kicks featured the word Hoyas on the heels instead of Nike’s branding. And the design of the kicks was pretty similar to AJ1s and Dunks. So why did they get that special pair? Well, basically, the team’s coach was John Thompson, and he was a consultant at Nike since 1980. And you know, when you’re friends and family, you get special treatment! And that’s a concept that still lives on today. If you wanna read the story in detail, check this out.

A 2022 Comeback We Certainly Approve of!

If you’re a sneakerhead with a serious dedication to the game, then you’ll love what’s coming. You probably know your Air Jordan history by heart, so now is the time to expand the collection! Nike Terminator Georgetown is finally making a comeback with a little edit that we don’t hate. Instead of Hoyas on the heels, we’re gonna get the Nike logo. Other than that, the sneakers will stay true to their school (see what we did there?) That little change will allow Nike to play with future colorways!

Nike Terminator Release Info

The upcoming Nike Terminator Georgetown will drop on November 17, 2022. It will retail for $125, which is more than Dunks, but less than the Air Jordan 1! And for a resale value of around $210, the kicks are definitely worth having on your must-cop list. So make sure you keep it under your radar!

Snag a Pair of Nike Terminator… or More!

Mark your calendars, because Nike SNKRS is gonna get busy when Nike Terminator drops. So if you wanna have that little edge over other shoppers, make sure you have a Nike bot. But a Nike bot alone can’t do the trick, you’ll need to use it in the right environment. That means you need to get proxies and Nike accounts that work well with your bot. And the only way to know what works and what doesn’t is by trial and error. So make sure you do that before drop day so you reach the date ready! Godspeed
