Nike Fortnite Celebrates the Air Max DN with Airphoria 2.0!

Nike Air Max Day this year ain’t just a day! From classic retros to new silhouettes, the celebration is as cool as ever. But because the Swoosh never settles, there’s always a little extra pizzazz to every event! And this year, we have two events. The first was the non-Nike-related sale of the AirMax.com domain. However, the second event is a Nike event through and through. You probably remember when the Swoosh took over in Roblox, and this time it’s not too far off. Are you ready to dive into Airphoria 2 with Fortnite? Well, here’s everything you should know about the event!

Nike Fortnite – Airphoria 2023 Was Groundbreaking!

Let’s trace our story back to June 2023, when Nike Fortnite first came together. That’s when we got the first installation of the Airphoria event! You see, that wasn’t even Nike’s first venture into the virtual world. After all, RTFKT and .SWOOSH were certainly two projects that kept up with the times. But you know, gaming hits different sometimes, and Nike Fortnite is a clear example of that! So, what went down last year?

In June 2023, Nike and Fortnite launched the Airphoria universe with Air Max-themed buildings and designs. Moreover, players could purchase the skins that the Nike characters wore there. And finally, Nike went the extra mile and dropped apparel that took inspiration from the Airphoria universe! You can read more about last year’s event right here.

Airphoria Vol.2 – The Sneaker Gaming Collab Is Back

As we already mentioned, the Air Max Day celebrations are still going on beyond just March 26! And this year, it’s all about the Nike Air Max DN! But before we get to the nitty-gritty details, let’s talk about the skins. Airphoria 2.0 introduces new skins like Eclipse and Airphorian, the second is a direct nod to the Air Max DN! In addition to the new characters, players’ avatars will wear the Air Max DN during gameplay. Of course though, it’s not the DNs only, because we have special appearances by favorites like the Air Max 1 and Plus Drift.

Now, in addition to all the cool visuals, this year the universe will come with a challenge! Players have to bring together four Air Max chambers which recreates the brand new DN cushioning system. You can call that education through play if you might, amirite? Now, how can you join the Nike Fortnite event?

Well, that’s easy, because all you have to do is enter the island code 2887-3398-8922. This will allow you to hop into the exciting fashion-sneaker-adventure world of Euphoria 2.0. This event will run from March 26 through April 2, 2024. So if you still didn’t join, now’s the time to do that! If you miss out on that window, the custom world will close. Godspeed!
