2020 was a pretty eventful year on many levels. But when it comes to sneakers, it was a really big hit with so many great releases. And one of the best releases of that year was the New Beginnings pack. That pack re-introduced the Nike Air Ship, and with it, we got the Jordan 1 ‘85 New Beginnings. But that wasn’t all, because 2020 also brought the Air Jordan 1 ‘85 Varsity Red. And these babies are currently worth $488 on average in resale!
From then on, the 1985 Jordan reissues became a tradition! In February 2021, Jordan Brand gave us the Jordan 1 ‘85 Neutral Grey, which is worth $280 on resale. And in April 2022, we got the very nice-looking Jordan 1 ‘85 Georgetown. Now, these are worth $373 on average on the aftermarket. Now, 2023 is the fourth year in a row in which we get an ‘85 retro, and this time it’s the black and white Jordan 1!
Let’s be real here, retros, especially the ones that stay true to OGs, live in our heads rent-free. And what’s better than another one to complete your sneaker collection? The black and white Jordan 1 ‘85 is an OG that features a white leather base and black overlays and Swoosh. And well, judging by the resale of previous installations, these will definitely be worth it. In fact, the 2014 retro of these babies is currently worth $884 on average, which says a lot!
