Arts-Rec Is Bringing the Wilderness to San Diego Soon
If you’re a San Diego skateboarder, you probably have heard of Arts-Rec. The community-oriented skateshop was founded in 2018 by Kellen James, a skateboarding veteran. And obviously, the shop was a success, especially since its goal was to be a community hub for local skaters. Today, you can find Arts-Rec at two locations in San Diego, the OG on Logan Ave, and in Chula Vista. Of course, whenever a skateshop succeeds, we can expect hot collabs with big brands. And naturally, who better than the Nike SB division to jump on that opportunity?
The Arts-Rec Nike SB Collab Is a Must-Not-Miss!
If you thought we would be getting just one collaborative pair, you’re wrong. The Arts-Rec Nike SB collab will include two silhouettes. The first and obvious choice is the Nike SB Dunk low, this time dressed in a red and olive base with leopard print overlays. And the semi-translucent outsole certainly adds an element of coolness to the whole thing.
Now, the second silhouette has been MIA for five years. You see, the Nike SB Trainer 1’s last appearance was back in 2020 when we got the Chlorophyll colorway. This time, though, the silhouette is back with a mix of colors and materials. From the leather base to the black suede and leopard print overlays and the fuzzy pink swoosh, it makes weird look very cool.

The Arts-Rec Nike SB collection will drop on the Arts-Rec website on July 18, 2025. Meanwhile, if you’re waiting for the Nike SNKRS drop, it’s gonna be on July 22, 2025. The SB Dunk Low will retail for $140, and the Air Trainer 1 for $135. Now, the kicks will both be worth the investment as they can make you some decent money in resale.
