With Nike’s financial numbers out, there’s no doubt that innovations played a big role in the company’s successful year. According to Hypebeast, more than 80% of Nike’s growth is driven by new innovation. This includes the Nike React Element 87 that many people are calling the shoe of the year.
In 2017, Nike React technology was introduced to the world via the Nike React Hyperdunk and Jordan Super Fly. However, it wasn’t until the Nike Epic React debuted that hype around the technology began building up.
Based on feedback from runners, Nike took began to experiment with foam to create a perfect running shoe. Instead of the typical foam that the world knows, they altered it with new ingredients to get a perfect batch of bouncier, springier, and more durable material. Basically, Nike reinvented foam and it’s better than ever.
The Nike React Element 87 is Nike’s newest lifestyle sneaker. We first saw this shoe leak as an Undercover x Nike collab, which may still release in the future. However, for now, the shoe is coming in two colorways: Anthracite (black) and Sail.
Promising comfort with its Nike React cushioning, the Nike React Element 87 can easily become your go-to everyday shoe of the year. This lifestyle sneaker is made durable for long days when you’re on the run.
In addition to comfort, the translucent upper gives it a modernistic vibe that you can style as a new shoe every time just by leveling up your sock game
It already dropped in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Greater China on June 21st. Now, both colorways will drop on July 13, 2018, in the United States.
It retails for $160 and if you can’t wait for it, pay twice as much at resale. Or you can enter our giveaway which we’ll post about on Twitter so keep your eyes peeled on turn post notifications on.
