And what’s better than a performance shoe that exceeds expectations? So, design-wise, the kicks are a masterpiece! It’s actually gonna be the first Nike LeBron to feature a full ZoomX midsole. The carbon fiber shank, as well as the multi-directional traction pattern on the outsole, are there to help ballers achieve the best performance!
Beyond the technical details, there’s a lot more going on with these babies. You see, the Nike LeBron 23 will come in 23 different colorways to commemorate 23 milestones in his career. For example, the inaugural pair, Uncharted, is a tribute to LeBron’s 40,000 career points. The second pair is a nod to his back-to-back rings and MVPs with the Miami Heat. And another colorway is a tribute to the fact that LeBron and Bronny are the first father-son duo to play in the NBA at the same time.
The coolest thing about it all is that the 23 colorways are split into three eras, if you will. We have “The Chosen 1 Arrives”, which falls between 2002 and 2010. Then, “Taking the Throne” spans between 2010 and 2018. And finally, “Long Live the King” beginning in 2018 to our present day!
